About usoverview
What is Symbiotic Engineering?
Symbiotic refers to mutually beneficial relationships that we believe can be created both between our company and our clients and between the goals of our clients and the environment. Our areas of expertise include greenhouse gas and sustainability management and providing the quantification metrics and tools to evaluate “green” developments, projects and products. We utilize tools such as life-cycle assessment, life-cycle costing and material flows analyses to identify systemic approaches for reducing the environmental impacts.
Our Mission
At Symbiotic Engineering, we are Defining GreenTM
together with partnering clients in a participatory approach. We are stepping into a new paradigm of sustainability. We believe that Defining GreenTM is an iterative process with the client that first requires quantifying environmental and economic impacts and then seeks innovative solutions that work within critical social aspects to better define sustainability.
Symbiotic Engineering's Carbon Negative Pledge:
Symbiotic Engineering will offset more greenhouse
gases than we emit, resulting in a negative GHG
emitting company.
The focus on efficiency without regard to
consumption or conservation fails to acknowledge
a world of finite resources. Symbiotic Engineering
will work to develop a vision of sustainable sufficiency
for each company. The responsibility for reducing
greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions falls not only on
the largest industrial emitters but also on service
sector companies that demand office use resources
such as electricity and paper along with employee
generated transportation emissions.
